Making friends as an adult is harder than it should be.
Nobody teaches you how to do it. You leave school, university, a job, a relationship, a city, and suddenly the social structures that used to make friends for you are gone. And you are left wondering how everyone else seems to be managing just fine.
The truth is, most people are not. Most adults in cities like London are quietly looking for the same thing. Somewhere to belong. Someone to call. A reason to get out of the house on a Saturday that does not feel like a chore.
Nucircle started because of that. Because belonging should not be this hard. And because there is something genuinely lovely that happens when a group of adults decides to stop being strangers and start being people to each other.
A community, not a product.
We do walks. We explore a different culture every month. We have a singles group for people who want to meet people in a relaxed, no-pressure way. We have a space for real conversation. We write letters for strangers going through something hard. And we keep showing up, because that is what community actually is.
We are a small, independent community run by people who genuinely love what they are building. No waitlists, no pressure, no performance. Just people being real with each other.
Most of our events are free. When there is a cost, we say so clearly up front. We think access to community should not depend on how much money you have.

You do not need to be outgoing, sorted, or anything in particular. You just need to show up. We take it from there.

Kindness is non-negotiable.
Everyone here is a person trying to connect. Treat them the way you would want to be treated. That is the whole foundation.
Community is built by everyone in it.
