London is full of amazing, interesting, funny and warm people. People living completely different lives, who might never normally cross paths, but who are open to meeting someone new.
Making friends as an adult can be something really special.
As children, friendships often happen naturally. School, sport, the street you grew up on. The people around you become your people almost without trying. Then life changes. You move. You grow. The structures that used to create friendships quietly disappear. And somewhere in all of that change is an opportunity.
We get to meet people we might never otherwise have known. People from completely different worlds, with completely different stories. People who see things differently, who have lived through things we have not, who bring something into our lives that we did not even know was missing.
That is why NuCircle exists. Because some of the best friendships are still waiting to happen.
NuCircle, simply.
We walk. We explore a different culture every month. We have a singles group for people who want to meet others in a relaxed, no-pressure way. We have a space for real conversation. We write letters for strangers going through something hard.
We are still learning. Still figuring out what we are and what we could be. Some things work brilliantly. Some things we are still getting right. Imperfectly perfect feels much more like us.
What we know for certain is that we want this to be a place where people feel welcome. Where showing up is enough. Where the friendships that form are real ones, not just names in a group chat.

Everyone here is a person trying to connect. Treat them the way you would want to be treated. That is the whole foundation.
Community is built by everyone in it.
