One Culture One Month.

One month is not enough to understand a culture, and that is the point. We are here to widen the story, not finish it. Every dish we try, every song we play, every conversation with someone who lived it, we chip away at the flatness of a country in our heads and replace it with something with more colour, more people, more contradictions. That is how the world gets smaller and richer at the same time.

Not a snapshot, not a tourist glance. A proper monthly dive into what makes a place: its people, its stories, its history, its food, its music. Some months are food-heavy. Some are history-heavy. Every month ends with a live event in London where we experience it together.

What the group is for

Exploring the monthly culture together. Sharing reads, films, recipes, music, interesting facts and questions about what we are discovering. Chat before the live event, photos and thoughts after. Ideas for what culture to explore next.

What the group is not for

Events or promotions from other platforms or organisations. Personal projects or announcements unrelated to what we are exploring. Sharing contact details in the group chat without consent. One culture, one month, one focus. If you have a private thought or suggestion, send it to us directly.

We are guests in someone else's story. Be respectful of every culture we explore. No sweeping generalisations, no stereotypes presented as fact. Keep it in English so everyone can follow. No hate speech, no politics, no spam.
