Here4u Community Ltd (trading as Nucircle)
Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain English because we think you deserve to understand it.

Who we are

We are Here4u Community Ltd, a community interest company trading as Nucircle. We run community events, WhatsApp groups, and social activities for adults in London.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Here4u Community Ltd is the data controller. This means we decide how and why your personal information is used.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at: nucirclesocials@gmail.com

What information we collect

We only collect information that is needed to run the community. Here is what that includes:

When you join or express interest

If you fill in our join form on this website, we collect your first name and your WhatsApp number. We use this to add you to the relevant WhatsApp group and to send you details about upcoming events.

When you message us

If you send us a message via WhatsApp or email, we will have your contact details and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you.

When you visit this website

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security and performance purposes. We do not have direct access to this data and do not use it ourselves. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

We do not use cookies on this website for tracking or advertising. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

Under UK GDPR, we need a lawful reason to use your personal information. Here is the basis for each type of processing we do:

Running the community (legitimate interests): We use your name and WhatsApp number to add you to WhatsApp groups and send you event information. Our legitimate interest is operating a community that you have asked to be part of. We have considered whether this is outweighed by your rights and do not believe it is, because you chose to contact us and we only use your details for the purpose you expected.

Responding to messages (legitimate interests): When you contact us, we use the details you provided to reply. This is the obvious and expected use of that information.

Consent: If we ever ask to use your information for something beyond the above (for example, featuring your photo from an event), we will ask you separately and give you a clear way to say no.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. The only times your information may be seen by others are:

WhatsApp: When you join a WhatsApp group, your name and number are visible to other group members. This is the nature of WhatsApp groups. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc., and their privacy policy applies to messages sent through their platform.

Email: Our contact address is managed through Google (Gmail). Google may process messages as part of providing that service.

Neither WhatsApp nor Google are paid to handle your data on our behalf in ways beyond their standard service terms.

How long we keep your information

We keep your details for as long as you are an active member of the community. If you ask to be removed, we will delete your information promptly.

If we have not been in contact with you and you have not engaged with the community for 12 months, we will remove your details from our records unless you have asked us to keep them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the following rights:

Right to access: You can ask us what personal information we hold about you.

Right to correction: If something we hold about you is wrong, you can ask us to correct it.

Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your information. We will do this unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

Right to restriction: You can ask us to stop using your information in certain ways while a dispute is resolved.

Right to portability: You can ask for a copy of your information in a format you can take elsewhere.

Right to object: You can object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling reasons that override your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at nucirclesocials@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can reach them at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally if you want to stay informed about how we handle your information.
